The Mission Statement of the New York Chapter of TWS The New York Chapter of The Wildlife Society is a scientific and educational organization serving and representing wildlife professionals in New York State. We promote the highest possible standards among those working with wildlife resources and the publics that use them. We strive to increase awareness and appreciation of wildlife values. We also seek to ensure that wildlife resources and their habitats are managed according to sound biological, economic and social principles.
