Chartered in 1973, the Mississippi Chapter of The Wildlife Society is comprised of wildlife professionals and students. Our goal is that of The Wildlife Society founded in 1937 of promoting excellence in wildlife stewardship through science and education.
Hunters, private corporations, land owners, and wildlife enthusiasts are among the many who support wildlife conservation efforts across the state. Our state and federal agencies, universities, and wildlife biologists are all determined to keep Mississippi beautiful and our wildlife bountiful.
Our chapter is dedicated to continuing wildlife stewardship through science and education with a collaborative effort among members and nonmembers. We thank you for taking the time to visit our site and hope you come back and visit.
