The WCTWS telemetry database below contains the general location of biotelemetry projects currently being conducted in Wisconsin, along with contact information for the principal investigator(s).  The goal of this project is to help scientists designing telemetry projects avoid frequencies currently at use in a particular area.  Overlap of transmitter frequencies in the field can cause confusion, lead to wasted time and effort, and potentially introduce error into data used for survival and/or spatial analyses.  Individuals developing projects will be able to request information regarding frequencies at use on or near their intended study area, and by doing so they can avoid purchasing transmitters with overlapping frequencies.
